On the afternoon of April 2,2024, Angola local time, Qiu Shouying, General Manager of CBITEC Angola Company, led a visit to The Chinese Embassy in Angola to have an official audience with Zhang Bin,the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the PR China to the Republic of Angola. Counsellor Dai from the Consular and Overseas Chinese Affairs Office and Police Affairs Counselor Sun from the Embassy attended the meeting.

Qiu Shouying began his speech by congratulating Ambassador Zhang on his taking the new post and conveyed the best wishes of Chairman Liu Ziqiang of CBITEC to the Ambassador. Qiu Shouying then introduced the establishment, development and operation of the company in Angola in detail, and made a explicit report to Ambassador Zhang on the projects being implemented and tracked by CBITEC Angola Company as well as the challenges faced by the company during its business operation in Angola.
After listening to the report, Ambassador Zhang addressed on the many difficulties and challenges faced by Chinese enterprises in Angola, he said that all enterprises should actively innovate and diversify their development, break the fixed thinking of the original China-Angola financing mode, and try to develop overseas projects through the closed-loop invest-build-operate mode, so as to achieve long-term and sustainable development of enterprises. The two sides of the meeting also had in-depth discussions on the new development model for the specific projects of our company. The Ambassador said that the Embassy will, as always, do its best to provide support to enterprises in Angola and push China-Angola cooperation to a new level. Ambassador Zhang especially reminded enterprises to always maintain safety vigilance, travel prudently, and take effective security measures to ensure the personal and property safety of their employees.
Qiu Shouying expressed his sincere gratitude to Ambassador Zhang for his concern for the development of the company, and said that CBITEC Angola Company will continue to operate in accordance with the requirements of the Embassy, actively participate in projects in the fields of infrastructure, energy and minerals and industrial manufacturing, and so as to make a contribution to China-Angola cooperation.
