Sharpening makes a mighty sword, and bitter cold makes a blooming wintersweet. After countless days & nights of work and dedication, the Conakry municipal road project in Guinea undertaken by CBITEC has finally ushered in a shining moment of achievements. December 2nd, 2023 is the "Great Day" of CBITEC Guinea Branch. The Minister of Infrastructure and Public Works of Guinea, the Owner of the Conakry municipal road project, personally presented the project satisfaction award and the exemplary individual award to us. The Minister of Budget of Guinea also presented the awarding ceremony.
The Conakry municipal road project is distributed in various urban areas of the capital Conakry, including administrative areas where the government & ministries are located, economic prosperous business areas, densely populated residential areas and gateway areas for accessing the capital, all of which are key locations & areas that meet the needs of the people. Hindered by the serious problems of impassable roads, poor road conditions, unsmooth drainage and insufficient lighting, the people of the capital have been complaining about their travels constantly, and the economic development of the capital has also been mired.
Confronted with this awkward situation, CBITEC is keenly aware of the heavy responsibility of undertaking the project and determined to cure knotty difficulties & problems in the Conakry municipal roads through the project. Under the command of company leaders, Li Wei, the manager of the CBITEC Guinea branch, and Zhou Weihua, the project manager, guided the entire team to root themselves in the work site, care for the people, identify & settle the difficulties & problems on the spot, and strength the implementation. Not only did we accomplish all works with strict quality requirements, but all roads & overpasses were completed and opened to traffic on schedule, providing the people of the capital with smooth modern roads and improving the necessary supporting facilities for daily life of the residents along the route, such as parking lots, household entrance, water supply pipes, drains, septic tanks, fiber optic wells, etc., which have received high appraisal and widespread praise from the Guinean government and people.
The Conakry municipal road project in Guinea has experienced adverse factors such as the prevalent of the epidemic, regime changes, pipeline relocation, and rainy season interference. Faced with various challenges and overcame countless difficulties, the branch office has delivered all roads with quality & quantity guaranteed on time. Years of hard work has been recognized by the Owner. In order to thank CBITEC for the outstanding contribution to Guinea's infrastructure and economic development, the Minister of Infrastructure and Public Works of Guinea, awarded CBITEC Guinea Branch with the project satisfaction award, and the exemplary individual Award to Li Wei, the manager of CBITEC Guinea Branch, and Zhou Weihua, the project manager. Through them, they expressed the gratitude of Guinean government & people to CBITEC and their ardent expectations for the future.
The Minister of Infrastructure and Public Works held Manager Li Wei's hand and said genuinely during the awarding ceremony, "CBITEC is Guinea's most reliable partner. Thank you for your efforts, and we look forward to more cooperation between us in the future.” The credence of the Owner is our proud capital and also our driving force to move forward continuously.
The accomplishment of the Conakry municipal road has brought great convenience to the people of the capital city of Guinea, and also significant changes to the image of the capital. The municipal road project undertaken by CBITEC has set a benchmark for the strategic cooperation framework and contributed to the traditional friendship between the Chinese and Guinea.
